MEANING is relative: having a Happy Thanksgiving

I like to do some reflecting in the wintery months. Everything else is hibernating, resting or slowing down; so … I do.

I like to invite friends in the morning on Thanksgiving Day … very casual, some potluck eating and company, just until 4 PM. And then, I rest or walk or listen to music. And I try being quiet. This seems more in keeping with the rest of what’s happening in nature.

I also like inspiration. So I am putting three links here: one is for the old poem “Over the River and Through the Woods”; two others are women and men’s thinking about meaningfulness; and the last is just a picture … a romanticized one 🙂

And here’s a wish for you, that whatever you do with your time, you do something just for you.

    • Yours is a comment from quite some time ago! You can see how closely I monitor the blog.

I do want to say, just the same, it was kind of you to take the time. Thank you for that; and I wish you a good Thanksgiving, 2015.
